Rome and Vatican Tour

This day excursion is ideal for both individuals and families as it allows you easy access and great flexibility with your private driver for the day for all of you that want to see the highlights of Rome in a day and at relaxed pace.
Meeting at 08.00 at Civitavecchia Port: your driver will be waiting beside where your ship is berthed holding a name sign so you are able to identify him and will make your way to the historical city center to begin your tour at the National Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II in Piazza Venezia. You will continue on to see the splendors of Ancient Rome, which include the vicinity of the Roman and Imperial Forums, the Colosseum, the Capitoline and Palatine Hills, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla and the glorious Pantheon. Moving on, you will walk through the famed Piazza Navona, pausing at the Spanish Steps, before throwing your coins into the Trevi Fountain, and then onto St Peter's & Vatican City where here you will be greeted by an official private guide for a tour that lasts approx 3 hrs.
After an intensive day, your private driver will drive you smoothly back to the port in time for dinner.
